Job role

We are looking for exceptional Firmware Engineers to join our growing team.

 

You’ll be working on the latest technology developments in the world of smart home automation & IoT combined with energy management.

Requirements

Essential skills:

  • Experience of making mass market products in a commercial setting
  • Development of production grade C & C++ firmware
  • Some practical use of Python (either work or hobby development)
  • A good understanding of IP Networking
  • 1st or 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in Electronics or Computing subject or demonstrably excellent technical skills and knowledge
  • Linux as a development environment
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Previous experience using Git

Desirable skills (5 or more from the list below):

  • Radio protocol stacks (Zigbee, Thread, 802.15.4, WiFi, BLE)
  • Wireshark dissectors for debugging protocol issues
  • Networking protocols: IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, mDNS, NTP
  • Encryption and SSL libraries (e.g. mbedTLS, openSSL)
